A new wound care packaging development comes Cheshire, England-based medical device company MedTrade’s First Aids pads and bandages that quickly stop bleeding. Advances in the design and composition of wound care products will help demand for such products grow by 4.6% annually through 2013, forecasts Freedonia.

According to a Healthline.com article, “there have been tremendous advances made in the design and composition of dressings and bandages in recent years. The field is becoming increasingly complex, and there are numerous reports of healthcare workers applying inappropriate products.”
