Plastic Technologies Inc. (PTI) announces its new Shelf-Ready modeling capability that provides brand owners with a wide variety of “water clear” or tinted plastic container prototypes closely resembling final production pieces.

Shelf-Ready appearance models will now give marketers the ability to evaluate package concepts (such as bottles, containers, thermoforms, etc.) in a form that closely approximates production versions. According to the vendor, these models are less expensive than clear Lucite® models and provide a better impression than opaque models.

Appearance package models can be filled, labeled, and closed to create containers for shelf simulation, aesthetics, and physical impression, as well as for consumer focus groups. Models can be produced in five to seven days compared to the several weeks needed to build a prototype mold and manufacture physical samples.
