Sonoco ThermoSafe: Insulated containers

Sonoco ThermoSafe has launched a reusable bulk insulated container featuring a 1,200-mm x 800-mm footprint and 440 L of storage capacity for storing and distributing dry ice and perishable goods globally. This new packaging option maximizes space in delivery trucks as well as storage space for dry ice blocks in U.K. and European standardized sizes.

The container uses advanced technologies in foam adhesion and sidewall construction design, yielding a significant improvement in prolonging dry ice sublimation. Additionally, the lid seal and gasket design greatly minimize moisture infiltration, yielding quality dry ice pellets.

The optimal footprint and internal cube utilization, along with the improved dry ice sublimation performance, provide a reusable storage and distribution container that reduces operating cost of ownership, maximizes return on investment, and preserves the quality of dry ice and perishable goods, according to the vendor.

This container is the latest addition to ThermoSafe’s reusable bulk insulated container product line, which ranges from 113 to 2,095 L of storage capacity.
