KILIAN’s Synthesis 500 Bi-Layer Tablet Press is capable of manufacturing up to 360,000 tablets per hour, and is available in five tableting configurations: mono-layer, bi-layer; core (tab-in-tab); TRF (tamper-resistant formulations); and WET. Features include GAMP conforming automation, qualification and validation; self-explanatory operating, control and regulating system; patented punch bellows to protect tablets from lubricants; and hermetical separation of compaction and service area – meaning no product migrates to the press’ machine compartment.
