Pharma Tech Industries, one of the largest pharmaceutical contract manufacturers and packagers of powder products in the world, has hired Thomas Crawford, CSCP, to join its Operations Team as Senior Director of Customer Service & Planning. Based in the company’s Athens, Georgia office, he will lead a team consisting of the Director of Supply Chain and several account managers.

As Senior Director of Customer Service & Planning, Mr. Crawford will focus on further enhancing Pharma Tech’s customer service. This function is key to Pharma Tech’s mission of consistently fulfilling promises, satisfying customers and improving consumer health. To this end, initiatives currently underway include stronger integration between account management and supply chain planning and expanding the roles and responsibilities of account managers to be more responsive to customer requests.

Mr. Crawford most recently held the position of Associate Director of Trade Relations at Shionogi Pharma, where his responsibilities included day-to-day supply chain management. Prior to that, he was Senior Director of Supply Chain Management at Immucor Inc. He holds a B.S. in Economics from Louisiana State University.

“We’re impressed with the depth of supply chain experience and leadership that Thomas brings to Pharma Tech,” said Tee Noland, Chairman & CEO of Pharma Tech Industries, “and look forward to his guidance and participation in making our customer experiences even better.”
