Fette Compacting America, the leading supplier of tablet press equipment for pharmaceutical and nutritional applications, has named veteran executive Sean Scully as its new President. For Mr. Scully, who has been with Fette Compacting since the company’s inception in 1991, the promotion marks the culmination of more than two decades of upwardly mobile positions. Most recently, he had served as the company’s Senior Vice President, a title he held since late 2008.
As President, Mr. Scully will oversee the entirety of Fette Compacting’s business interests in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. In doing so, he assumes stewardship over a strong company reputation that he himself helped build: Fette Compacting America has become known as a premium provider of tablet presses, equipment and service, enjoying high customer satisfaction for machine/parts reliability and service personnel competence. This is due, in part, to an experienced staff whose average length of employment is an impressive 13 years.
In recent years, Mr. Scully helped launch Fette Compacting’s revolutionary FE Series of tablet presses. Both the FE55 and the smaller FE35 are characterized by unprecedented levels of productivity and flexibility, as well as fastest-in-class changeover time.
