Applikon Biotechnology, a global leading supplier of bioreactor control systems to the biopharma market, today announced the signing of a bilateral supply agreement with Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science. As part of the agreement, Thermo Fisher and Applikon have developed an integrated solution that combines the Thermo Scientific HyClone™ Single-Use Bioreactor (S.U.B.) with the industry leading Applikon ez- and i-Control systems. Thermo Scientific will resell this solution under the Thermo Scientific HyPerforma™ product suite. Applikon will resell the S.U.B. as a integrated solution. With more than 200 joint customers, the Applikon control systems are well accepted in the market and offer clear advantages in reliability and ease of operation.
