Pharma Tech Industries' molding capabilities are performed, in varying combinations, across the following categories:

• Plastic Caps, Closures and Bottles: PTI can design and manufacture customer-specific bottles in various colors, sizes and shapes to house both powders and liquids. Its comprehensive process includes low-cost thermage and label decorating. Plastic caps and other bottle closures - such as sifters for powder products - are molded in high- or low-density polyethylene and can be produced in virtually any color desired. PTI's standard two-piece closure sizes are 43mm and 33mm but, like its bottle molding operation, almost any request can be accommodated via custom design.

• Medical Devices: PTI has more than a decade of experience manufacturing Class I and Class II medical devices in an FDA-regulated environment. Start-to-finish capabilities include product design and development; validation services, such as qualification for installations, operations and performance; and in-house lab testing. All of PTI's medical device molding environments are FDA-regulated and audited.

• Healthcare Packaging: PTI can mold a wide variety of healthcare packaging solutions, including dental floss packaging components and containers, snap and latching closures, living hinges and multi-piece assemblies.

From Part Design to Mold Servicing: PTI's Mold and Tool ShopPharma Tech Industries offers a full-service in-house mold and tool shop whose design team is dedicated to achieving innovative mold design, maintenance, and assembly systems. PTI's innovative engineering solutions combine design objectives with real-time manufacturing experiences, including solid modeling, unit cavity prototypes, computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM).

PTI's mold maintenance practices such as blue wave ultrasonic cleaning and in-house mold refurbishments extend product lives, and a dedicated team of engineers can design custom assembly automations to meet packaging needs from material selection and scientific molding to press-side assembly and, if necessary, part and mold modification.
