The 2nd Pharma Logistics China 2012 is Upcoming

New GSP regulation will be released in 2012, aiming to improve the pharmaceutical supply chain quality and maintain pharmacy safety.

In China, the pharmacy revenue reached 1.20 trillion RMB in 2011, and is expected to increase by as much as 15% in 2012. However, too many issues around the entire supply chain need to be improved and solved, including that the regulatory requirements are uncertain and logistics providers unqualified. Working with partners to ensure quality and cost efficiency is the biggest concern in management for many pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors.

Last year, SCM Pharma China 2011was successfully held in Shanghai. Mr. Rajesh Pednekar, head of distribution in Pfizer, attended and said the event was "very valuable, especially to understand current constraints in world supply chain." CPhI Conferences will launch The 2nd Pharma Logistics China 2012 on 21-22 August in Shanghai, China. The conference is the foremost and only gathering of head level pharmaceutical logistics professionals in China, and will bring industry regulators, pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, logistics, storage & warehousing, packaging and instrumentation solution providers to discuss and share their valuable experiences.
