Fresh graphics at low cost

SJ Creations focuses on products for the Health and Beauty industry. Shrink sleeve labels it uses on its bottles are made of polyvinyl chloride and printed with water-based inks on an HP Indigo digital press by RB Dwyer Co.. The heat shrink film allows the label to shrink to the contours of the varied containers. Each label graphic is printed in 5-7 vibrant colors.

“The digital press allows us to bring new and fresh products to the marketplace without incurring huge printing costs,” says Ashley Sheurs, art director at SJ Creations. “It’s very cost effective with low tooling costs, and the quality often surpasses that of conventional printing. In addition, the extensive color gamut, powered by Esko, allows us to address the most demanding color requirements.”
