Formulated Solutions, a Florida-based contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in branded Rx, OTC, and medical device self-directed consumer healthcare, has completed the installation and qualification of a new high-speed metered-dose nasal production suite at its global production headquarters in Largo, Fla.
The 9,000-sq-ft installation will support the company’s current and future pharmaceutical marketing partners in the high-speed production of metered-dose nasal spray applications. The dedicated, captive production suite leverages fully automated component sorting, filling, labeling, ELV, and OCR to produce high-quality single- and multi-pack selling units at rates reaching 200 units/min.
