Avery Dennison has announced the launch of AD Nanoblock, a powerful HF/NFC inlay and one of the smallest on the market.

Designed to deliver exceptional performance within apparel, healthcare, beauty, food and beverage applications, or any other space-constrained environment, the inlay complements consumer engagement, product authentication and brand protection initiatives. It is available with the NXP ICODE SLIX HC chip and the new ICODE 3 chip.

With an antenna size of just 4.5 x 4.5 mm, the AD Nanoblock is intended for tagging where space is at a premium. It is currently available as a Dry and RIF Wet (Wet+) inlay.

The AD Nanoblock is fully compliant with the ISO/IEC 15693 and NFC Forum Type 5 standards, which allow it to be read by both HF-RFID readers and all smartphone models. It is also compliant with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management and ISO 9001:2015 Environmental Management, which ensure a reliable and state-of-the-art product that meets a variety of application needs.
