At PACK EXPO East in Philadelphia, Omega Design Corp presented its Econo Pouch Feeder system, which feeds desiccants and oxygen scavengers. The machine is part of its new IMPACT Series of pre-configured machines,an alternative buying path for companies of all sizes to obtain industrial equipment at a low entry point compared to custom-built machines without sacrificing build quality.

The system is designed for dispensing into bottles, trays, diagnostic kits and more, and allows for single or multiple pouch drops per container.

The stepper motor offers precise speed control in an all-electric unit, with a throughput of 150 pouches/min, and 3D printed technology allows for an economical unit. The system accepts pouches from all major manufacturers.
