Selig Group Announces New GM, Americas and Leadership Reorganization

Selig Group appoints Shyam Kotak as the vice president and general manager of Americas, along with expanded roles for existing leaders Andre Oliveira and David Griffin.

Selig Group, a global provider of container sealing and venting packaging solutions, announced that Shyam Kotak has joined Selig Group and assumed the role of Vice President and General Manager, Americas, and existing leadership team members, Andre Oliveira and David Griffin, have taken on expanded roles. These changes will strengthen the company, in alignment with Selig Group’s 2030 vision, and drive long-term value for the customers the company serves.

Shyam Kotak, VP and GM, Americas, will lead day-to-day sales and operations for the Americas business unit. Shyam most recently spent over 10 years at Aptar, serving as VP, Global Accounts and Customer Excellence, Closures and previously as GM, Elastomeric Flow Control.

Andre Oliveira, VP, Global Operations, has taken on expanded responsibility for Global Procurement and Global Safety, in addition to his current leadership of Global Operations and Manufacturing Engineering.

David Griffin, VP, Global Sales and Products, has taken on expanded responsibility for Global Quality and Product Safety, and Global Solutions Development, in addition to his current leadership of Global Sales, Marketing and Sustainability.
