Although prostate cancer is one of the most common forms in men, diagnostic accuracy in blood tests is surprisingly low at around 30%. Because of this, additional invasive and painful biopsies are needed to confirm. Thankfully, a recent EurekAlert! article reported on a new urine test that aims to improve prostate cancer diagnoses. A team of researchers at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology developed the technique that provides results in just twenty minutes with nearly 100% accuracy.
