According to a recent MSN article, Massachusetts Institute of Technology has created a device that helps guide dreams. It’s called ‘Dormio,’ and it helps users enable “targeted dream incubation,” where dream content is guided by verbal and sound cues. Dormio users fall asleep in normal fashion, but their transition into stage 2 sleep is tracked and interrupted, suspending them in a semi-lucid state where micro dreams can be influenced.
