After 50 years in the packaging machinery industry, 17 of them with ESS Technologies, Walter Langosch has retired. As the director of sales and marketing and then global business development director, Langosch created the ESS sales and marketing team to maximize business development and strengthen the company’s place as a solution provider for the automation of assembly and packaging processes in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, medical device, and consumer products industries.

Prior to joining ESS, Walt worked as a VP of sales and marketing and a sales manager for other companies that also specialize in automated packaging machines.

“Fifty years in packaging automation with five different companies has gifted me with many friendships and associations,” says Langosch.  “I’ve worked with some phenomenal and brilliant people throughout these years, whose influence and leadership have made me a better person. My travel has taken me to many wonderful countries which, in turn, has taught me how great our own country can be. Now I can revisit my favorites and discover the new ones with my loving wife and friend Shelley.”
