The award-winning Hapa 862, a modular printing system for roll-fed materials, prints complex graphics as well as serialized data onto blank or preprinted foils, labels and other roll-fed materials.

The system delivers economy, agility and flexibility to the heart of lean production processes. At the heart of the system is the newly developed UV DOD piezo inkjet printing module “redcube plus,” itself scalable from one-color print capacity to four spot colors or CMYK.

The Hapa 862, winner of a prestigious iF Design award 2016, is outfitted with the Hapa HMI, itself a winner of an iF Design Award 2015, a 2016 Red Dot Award, and a Special Mention German Design Award 2016.

Additionally, Hapa’s DigiMATIC 220 will be integrated onto a Farmar Tec TF 220 blister machine at the Farmar Tec stand during Pharmintech 2016. The off-the-shelf, UV DOD, piezo inkjet solution prints blank or pre-printed roll-fed materials in a single color.
