Impressions Inc: Dent-resistant packaging

Reynolds Flexible Packaging offers the new Cold Form™ 4000 blister laminate.

Pw 6498 M Reynolds

Like Cold Form 3000, this laminate uses 45-micron, heavy-gauge foil sandwiched between a PVC film on the sealant side and a 60-micron nylon film, making it suitable for light- and moisture-sensitive medications. Cold Form 4000, however, offers twice the dent-resistance due to an additional layer of 60-micron PVC film laminated to the nylon exterior. The additional layer greatly enhances the material’s rigidity, practically eliminating indentations or impressions that could occur through typical shipping and handling. The exterior film of the laminate can be reverse- or surfaceprinted in as many as 8 colors.
