As of September 6, 2016, Steve Bowden will join Constantia as Regional Vice President Labels NAM, reporting to Mike Henry, EVP Labels. In his function, Steve Bowden will be responsible for leading the Labels Business in NAM. Within the coming months, he will be transitioning to his new role, taking over the responsibility from Randy Spear, who will leave Constantia at the end of this year.

Steve Bowden studied Chemical Engineering at Auburn University. In the past years, Steve Bowden acted as President and COO at Quality Associates (Cincinnati, OH), a contract Packager, focused on secondary packaging. Before joining Quality Associates, he spent his entire professional career at International Paper, gaining the full variety of experience, in technical, sales as well as full P+L leadership positions, last as EVP of Marketing & Strategy of xpedx, an International Paper company.

We would like to thank Randy Spear for his contributions and efforts in the past years with Constantia. Together with Rick Spear, Randy grew the Spear Group to become one of the leading Labels producers and worldwide number one in pressure sensitive labels for the beverage market.

With Randy Spear leaving the company at the end of the year, we are delighted that Rick Spear remains with the business as Technology Officer Labels division, being responsible for future developments and technologies in the Labels division.

Please join us in welcoming Steve Bowden to our team. We wish him success in his new role.

We wish Randy Spear all the best for his professional and private undertakings in the future.
