Siemens No-Charge Service Converts Rockwell Controller Code

Siemens now offers a no-charge, code conversion service that upgrades Rockwell’s RSLogix 5, RSLogix500 and Studio 5000 software to Siemens Simatic TIA Portal.

This content was written and submitted by the supplier. It has only been modified to comply with this publication’s space and style.

The service retains current structures and naming conventions, ensuring familiarity from the start.

Available to U.S. companies, the service converts data, code and program files as well as tasks and routines to accommodate Siemens Simatic S7-1200 or S7-1500 lines of controllers. No intellectual property is shared with outside entities.

Siemens Modernization Experts are available to perform on-site visits to ensure proper transitions at the conclusion of modernized projects. Siemens Certified Solution Partners are also available to assist when code optimization is required.

The code conversion service may be requested at http://bit.ly/code-conversion. Simply complete the submission form and email a one-line drawing of the system architecture to be migrated and the code to be converted. Complete export instructions are found on website.
