The booth will show a range of highlights, including manual production systems, fastening tools, highly flexible conveyor and Cartesian motion transport systems, new machine programming functionality, and more. A key area of focus will be to show visitors to the booth how they can implement Industry 4.0 solutions today. Displays and interactive demonstrations will include TSplus assembly conveyors and VarioFlow plus flexible conveyors, the all-new ActiveMover transfer system, Open Mechatronics, assembly production tools and Rexroth's Mechatronics @ Work demo with cabinet-free controls.
TSplus assembly conveyor The TSplus assembly conveyor improves manufacturing productivity and product quality while minimizing downtime. The workpiece pallet-based, non-synchronous conveyor offers maximum assembly flexibility with modular and pre-engineered components. Users can choose from numerous conveying media and pallet sizes, and an extensive range of positioning and transfer modules.
Rexroth's booth will include a live TSplus conveyor demonstration shown as a complete assembly line solution with drives, controller, I/O, pneumatics and Sercos and Profinet communication.
VarioFlow plus chain conveyor system The new VarioFlow plus chain conveyor system, which offers simplicity, flexibility and quiet operation, is a versatile, high-performance and standardized system ideal for achieving a rapid time-to-market. It features fast and smooth assembly, economical hardware, compact drives, minimized noise and wear, and efficient Rexroth MTpro planning software with Layout Designer. With VarioFlow plus, users can easily configure individual, space-saving solutions for complex transport tasks, even in particularly difficult environments.
ActiveMover The all new ActiveMover linear motor pallet-transfer system has everything you need for highly precise transfers in short production cycles. Exact positioning of workpiece pallets is achieved using Rexroth's best-in-class integrated measuring system (IMS). This pre-engineered, modular system features a powerful drive with up to 160 N per pallet plus rugged design and connects to any control system - every pallet is freely programmable and easy to change out.
Open Mechatronics The Open Mechatronics demo utilizes Rexroth's Open Core Engineering solution on an L25 Controller to illustrate how the award-winning Open Core Interface can allow users to program complex motion using an Excel spreadsheet! The mechanical elements are configured as a 2-axis Cartesian system with a CKR Compact Module in the X axis and an EMC Gen2 electromechanical cylinder and IMS Ball Rail in the Z axis. The system demonstrates its precision by mounting a size 65 Ball Rail Runner block repeatedly onto and off of a Size 65 Ball Rail, all operated via a PC tablet.
Production and power tools For assembly of everything from dishwashers to wind turbines, Bosch Production Tools, Bosch Power Tools and Rexroth Tightening Systems are secure, reliable and accurate. Tightening products are designed to withstand a million maintenance-free tightening cycles under full load for high-volume, high-quality operations and minimal downtime. Live demonstrations will include real-time tightening sequences with results shown on a mobile tablet.
