Cryopak's Technical Services Manager, Anthony Alleva, will be leading a Roundtable Discussion at this year's IQPC Conference in Chicago

Cryopak, leader temperature controlled package design and manufacturing, will be leading a roundtable discussion at this year's Cold Chain & Temp Management Summit September 24 - 28, 2012 in Chicago, IL.

Join Anthony Alleva, Cryopak's Technical Services Manager and Eva Langen, Cryopak's Product Manager, for an interactive workshop titled, Leveraging Engineered and Organic Phase Change Materials in Cold Chain Packaging Design.

The workshop will focus on the use of phase change materials in temperature controlled package design and the inclusion of phase change materials in cold chain packaging. Mr. Alleva will address the unique abilities of phase change materials such as, maintaining temperatures at tight specifications and their flexibility and reusability in certain pack-outs.

"We will focus our discussion on how to identify the trade-offs in material costs v. the total costs of the packaging and distribution," Alleva, said. "We will also look at the performance variables to consider in the selection of phase change materials and how PCM's are utilized in packaging design."

Join Anthony and Eva for their panel discussion on Leveraging Engineered and Organic Phase Change Materials in Cold Chain Packaging Design on Wednesday, September 26 at 11:40 am.
