In this role, Mr. Cox will handle general engineering functions as well as manage validation activities for processes and products within pharmaceutical, medical device and personal care categories. Drawing from extensive experience in these markets, he will also be responsible for developing costing and manufacturing methods to support new business initiatives. In addition, Mr. Cox will perform research and development activities for packaging and plastics technologies to support new and current businesses. Further, he will manage all Tool Shop resources in order to support the plastics department, which consists of injection, injection blow, compression and extrusion technologies.

Before joining PTI, Mr. Cox was a senior engineer at Remington Medical. Prior to that, he served two years as R&D program manager at Pixel Optics and earlier, held numerous positions throughout his nine years at Johnson and Johnson.
Mr. Cox holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a Masters in Business Administration from Clemson University. He is a member of the Society of Professional Engineers and currently resides in Braselton, GA with his family.
