CONGRATULATIONS to the Winneconne Middle School Team “High VEXpectations” Robotics Club for qualifying and participating in the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championships! Their initial challenge was raising the funds to not only compete in the VEX Robotics World Championships that took place on April 25-27, but also to generate the much-needed donations to help facilitate the students, and their families, travel to St. Louis for the event.

That is where Multi-Conveyor stepped in with a generous contribution to the local school’s team. But it did not stop there. Multi-Conveyor, a prominent member of the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute, took advantage of the PMMI Skills Fund Match program which doubled the initial donation, helping make this (possibly) once-in-a-lifetime experience a reality. Win-win!

The team, made up of Enzo Ashton, Adelynn Hudack, Lincoln Hudack, and Jarek Scribner, placed 66th in the Math Division with a match record of three wins and seven losses. Although that may seem like a rough record, when you are up against the best in the world, not every match goes your way. Including several competitive meets that were extremely close yet ultimately endured humble defeat. Job well done!

Although the team did not bring home any trophies, the team members explained, “A highlight was getting to be aligned with a team from Hong Kong,” in one of their matches. “Just being able to meet and talk to students from all over the globe, whether that was during the competition, at a restaurant, or even in the hotel elevator, was a unique educational and memorable experience.”

The Winneconne High VEXpectations Robotics Team is eager to channel the dedication and hard work needed to qualify for—and potentially compete again in—the 2027 competition. The knowledge gained allows existing students to share from this years’ experience with new team members to come. Multi-Conveyor is committed to supporting future educational and community efforts with enthusiasm, including PMMI’s charitable Skills Fund Match when applicable.

What is VEX Robotics?

Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (REC) is a worldwide game and competition organization where teams design, build, program, and operate a robot in an arena. Teams compete with and against each other to achieve game objectives, earning points for reaching specific goals. This program provides students an opportunity to learn about areas rich with career opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Beyond science and engineering principles, our robotics club encourages teamwork, leadership, and group problem solving with peers.
