President Obama is expected to sign a bill that would require child-resistant packaging for e-cigarettes, according to USA Today.
Earlier in the week, the House of Representatives passed the bill, which was approved last month by the Senate. It is now headed to the president's desk.
The lack of child-resistant packaging for e-cigarettes has been at the center of political debates after a number of reported incidents, including at least one death, as a result of children consuming the e-cigarette liquid.
A number of state legislatures have already taken action, and political leaders have previously called on the FDA to take up the issue.
