Unicheck’s Security and iDentity (SEiD) Platform is a global, secure Web-based platform that generates unique codes for labeling each product pack. Information that the pharmaceutical or healthcare company wants to be associated with that particular code and pack is kept on the SEiD Platform.
When that unique code is read using a smartphone or tablet (with a free app) it in effect turns the pack of pills from an inert object into a powerful means of one-to-one communication with the patient, the caregiver, and healthcare professionals, as applicable.
A patient, for example, can be linked instantly to purpose-built Websites and data where they can get immediate access to non-promotional information as well as download apps that can help them adhere to their treatment, better manage their condition, and improve their health outcomes in a user-friendly way.
Unicheck’s SEiD Platform enables the information associated with each code and thus each pack to be changed/updated instantly by the company. When the patient accesses the information it can be customized to their particular needs.
The SEiD Platform interfaces with current and proposed manufacturers’ technologies and IT/ERP/CRM systems. De-identified data can be collected and analyzed from specific patient cohorts to provide real-world data and evidence that can be used to further improve treatments, care pathways, healthcare, and health outcomes.
The Unicheck SEiD Platform can perform three functions separately according to manufacturers’ needs using the same unique code on each pack: one-to-one consumer communication, anti-counterfeiting, and the tracking and tracing of any item—any time, any place, anywhere. Each of the three functions is compliant with existing and forthcoming industry regulations and legislation.
Unicheck provides companies with the secure codes for each pack and for labels as required. The company also provides access to the SEiD Platform Web interface where users can customize the information associated with each code/pack. Unicheck offers support throughout the whole process if needed.
