Flexible approach to applying lipstick (sidebar)

ColorKiss by Orlandi is a unique use of flexible packaging to hold a single application of lipstick. Developed by Dale Beal, Orlandi vice president of marketing, it uses an exclusive license for the inventor’s patented system.

ColorKiss by Orlandi employs a combination of paper and plastic substrates that are “manipulated” by Orlandi before the lipstick is applied and covered with a heat-sealed PET film cover.

The materials are supplied in rollstock form by American Packaging Corp. The package won a Silver Award.
