New MIT Device Lets You Pick Your Dreams

The wearable device enables “targeted dream incubation,” where dream content can be influenced.

It’s called ‘Dormio,’ and it helps users enable “targeted dream incubation,” where dream content is guided by verbal and sound cues. Dormio users fall asleep in normal fashion, but their transition into stage 2 sleep is tracked and interrupted, suspending them in a semi-lucid state where micro dreams can be influenced.
