A recent USA Today article noted a birth control packaging error that could lead to pregnancy. Allergan’s Taytulla birth control was packaged with the placebo pills in the wrong order; they were placed in the first four slots on a sequence card rather than the last four slots.

Customers who have capsule cards with erroneously packaged pills will receive a recall letter from Allergan that will help coordinate returning the product. The company issued a statement alerting patients of the mix-up with lot number 5620706, and said that if you think you may be pregnant to “please visit a doctor.”
