Douglas Machine Inc.’s TriVex RLi® triples throughput by transforming pharmaceutical top-load case-packing lines from a manual operation to a fully automated system. The TriVex’s robotic loader and end-effector pick and spread bottles for accurate placement into cases with protective trays. Within one machine, the TriVex RLi provides case erecting, pocketed bottom and top tray placement, product loading, leaflet insertion, in-line case labeling, and case sealing. Douglas also assures package quality and verification with the use of product detection and vision systems.
