Demonstrated at Pharmintech 2016, Hapa’s 862 waste-cutting, digital printing system drives lean packaging production. The modular printing system is for rollfed materials.
Fully digital, the Hapa 862 produces printed complex graphics as well as serialized data onto blank or pre-printed foils, labels and other roll-fed materials. The system delivers economy, agility and flexibility for lean production processes. At the heart of the system is the newly developed UV DOD piezo ink-jet printing module “redcube plus,” itself scalable from one-color print capacity to four spot colors or CMYK.
The Hapa 862 recently was honored with a iF Design award 2016.
Additionally, Hapa’s DigiMATIC 220 was integrated onto a Farmar Tec TF 220 blister machine at the Farmar Tec stand. The off-the-shelf, UV DOD, piezo ink-jet unit prints blank or pre-printed rollfed materials in a single color.
