The Farmo Res Prima K7 thermoformer is designed specifically for the deep-draw thermoforming of syringes, ampules, vials, and medical devices. Runs up to 35 cycles/min, and is operated by PLC with transfer on one lane for the production of trays in PET, PVC, and polystyrene.

Yundu Machinery Technology Co., Ltd, a contract manufacturer dedicated to the health and wellness sector, turned to an automatic capsule filling machine to ramp up its production. The most dramatic change was the speed. After the equipment installation, production capacity at Yundu increased from 20,000 capsules/hour to 72,000 capsules/hour.

Beyond discovery, Lilly plans to leverage the supercomputer to shorten development cycles and help get medicines to people faster.
