Vetroplas Packaging has launched a range of tubes using new in-mold labeling technology. The company’s tube manufacturing partner, CTL/Tuboplast, has enabled Vetroplas to offer the Easy Supply Tube (EST) in the U.K. Previously the tube was only available to CTL’s customer base in the U.S.
The EST tubes are manufactured using a new technique of in-mold labeling. The product offers decorative tubes with the added luxury of having the whole sleeve covered from the seal to the cap—the decoration being on the label rather than the tube sleeve. Options include metallic effects, a combination of matte and gloss finishes, and photographic CMYK images.
The EST tube sleeves are produced in PP, matching the cap material. EVOH can be added to enhance barrier properties.
