A recent Insider article discussed the FDA’s latest effort to thwart vape sales. On the heels of reports that suggest e-cigarettes are linked to seizures and lung infections, the agency told manufacturers of 44 vape pod and hookah products to cease sales immediately. The four companies that sell the products are Mighty Vapors LLC, Liquid Labs USA LLC, V8P Juice International LLC, and Hookah Imports, Inc. The FDA says the products don’t have the required marketing authorization to be sold in the United States.

It’s no secret that the FDA despises vaping, particularly for the marketing aimed at America’s youth. The contents of vape pods have also come under scrutiny lately as research has shown they expose users to hazardous chemicals.
