The company voluntarily recalled 2,980 bottles of Atorvastatin Calcium tablets in the United States due to “failed impurities degradation specifications.” The 500-count bottles were manufactured at Dr. Reddy’s plant in Bachupally, India and later shipped to the U.S. The recall is classified as Class III, which means use of the recalled product is not likely to cause adverse health consequences.
