A recent Medgadget article noted the FDA’s clearance of Aspenstate’s AiRTouch portable X-Ray. The AiRTouch has been especially useful for chest X-rays for COVID-19 patients. The 5.5 pound handheld device can take up to 300 images on a single charge and send them directly to clinical image storage systems, eliminating the need for a computer. In addition to COVID applications, Aspenstate believes the device could be useful in urgent care, ambulances, sports medicine, and dental and veterinary applications.
