MJS Packaging offers bottles with a ratchet-neck finish designed for use with metered dose nasal pumps. The bottles are made of HDPE, have an 18-mm neck finish, and are available in both ½-oz and 1-oz sizes.In addition these bottles offer flexibility for the pharmaceutical and OTC nasal category as they are compatible with a variety of nasal pumps with ratchet systems. New requirements from the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) for child-resistant packaging for products containing specified levels of imidazolines will go into effect in Dec. 2014.These changes will have a significant impact on the need for child-resistant packaging in both the ophthalmic and nasal categories.
