Plasticum has developed a new, proprietary packaging concept called Nutri-Line, a hinged lid with an integrated scoop to ensure safe and hygienic dosing of infant formulas. The product is designed for standard tinplate and composite cans and is available in two diameters: 99 mm and 127 mm. The lids can be customized to exploit brand identity.
As a supplier of caps and scoops for infant nutrition, Plasticum develops and manufactures packages that meet the requirements of the regulated food industry. While enhanced hygiene was the key element for the development of this alternative packaging, the lids and scoops of the Nutri-Line also offer comfort and user convenience.
The hinged lid has a tamper-evident indicator that shows first use. The wide handle allows for a perfect grip to ease opening and closing, and a smart locking element keeps the lid open during usage. Leveling bridges enable an accurate dosing quantity for both left- and right-handed people. After use, the scoop can be conveniently and hygienically placed on the cover ring, and the lid can be reclosed for safe storage. The two-piece lid with multicolor option can be further customized using in-mold labeling or embossing, enhancing brand identity.
The stackable scoop is practical and suitable for a wide range of powders and densities. Due to the improved cup design, the scoop has optimum pouring features and can easily scoop the last contents from the can. Venting slits allow for accurate and controlled scooping. The scoops are available in different cup sizes.
