Modular Packaging: Tablet counter powered by 3D camera technology

Modular Packaging’s ICU2-80 Tablet Counter, said to provide speeds of 80bpm with 100% accuracy, uses 3D camera technology to count and verify all styles of tablets and capsules in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries.

Designed for use on new lines or as a replacement for older solid dose fillers, the counter features two bulk and fine counting sections coupled with two staged count areas, this counter loads two bottles simultaneously for efficient throughput. The ICU2-80 unit is unaffected by tablet length because it counts tablets with its 3D cameras in bulk on the main tray.  The counter provides a small footprint, “tool-less” changeovers, as well as simple touch screen controls.
