The demand for locally sourced medical grade tubing is rapidly increasing in the China marketplace.This includes silicone tubing used for patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) pumps and peristaltic pumps for IV therapy.Tight tolerance tubing made from durable, resilient medical-grade silicone is essential for precision fluid delivery.
Tekni-Plex medical-grade silicone tubing is manufactured in a clean-room environment at a subsidiary’s manufacturing facility in Suzhou, China. Custom silicone tubing is manufactured in sizes with inside diameters ranging from 0.2 to 25 mm (0.008 to 0.984 inches) and wall thicknesses ranging from 0.1 to 3.0 mm (0.004 to 0.118 inches).These tubes are available with tolerances as low as +/- 0.03 mm (+/- 0.001 inch).
