Sepha, a provider of quality solutions for manufacturers in the pharmaceutical industry, introduces their Press Out Universal deblistering machine. Blister packages are fed automatically from the magazine stack to a cutting station. A cut is made in the lidding material around the base of the blister pocket. The tablets or capsules are meant to be gently deblistered from the blisters and collected separately from the blister packaging and can be returned to the production line for rework if required. Empty blister packs are rotated to a separate removable waste bin for disposal. The mechanism is designed for jam-free operation.
Custom tooling is supplied for each different blisterpack size with fast delivery times, according to the company.
