Dimitri Panayotopoulos appointed Chairman and Interim Chief Executive Officer

Dimitri Panayotopoulos has been appointed Coveris Chairman and Interim Chief Executive Officer by the Coveris Board of Directors, effective today. Dave Mezzanotte, who currently holds this position, announced his decision to retire and will assist in a transition period.

Dimitri has had a very distinguished career, including thirty-seven-years at Procter & Gamble where he led multiple businesses and served as Vice Chairman. During his time at P&G, Dimitri gained vast knowledge of best business practices across multiple geographies such as the U.K., Switzerland, Germany, Egypt, China and the USA, and many different categories. His acute knowledge of the fast-moving consumer goods market will prove invaluable in driving continued growth and commercial success at Coveris.
