Primo Medical Group Purchases Cleanroom Assembly and Packaging Business

Latest Acquisition Shows Company's Dedication to Growth

Primo Medical Group is pleased to announce the purchase of the Cleanroom Assembly and Packaging business from North American Sterilization and Packaging (NASP), Franklin, New Jersey.

The purchase allows Primo Medical Group to expand its Cleanroom Assembly operations by including NASP's customer portfolio, which encompasses a wide range of medical device manufacturers in the US and Europe. In addition, this acquisition enables Primo Medical Group to broaden its dynamic platform of Engineering, Manufacturing, Cleanroom Assembly and Packaging services.

Steven Tallarida, Primo Medical Group CEO said, "With this purchase Primo Medical Group continues to show its leadership in the Medical Device OEM space. We are very excited about the opportunity to create new partnerships while adding value to both our existing customers and new ones alike."

Dave Elich, Primo Medical Group VP of Operations said, "We have enjoyed a longstanding relationship with the Wiebel family, owners of NASP, and look forward to working with them in the future."

Andrea Patisteas a Senior Executive VP at Primo added, "Primo is looking for continued growth both organically and by leveraging strategic acquisitions such as NASP." Over the past 17 years Primo Medical Group has incubated and invested in several new technologies including Angiolink Corporation (acquired by Medtronic), Arthrosurface Inc., Spirus Medical, Inc. (acquired by Olympus), Cardiosolutions, Inc., Saphena Medical Inc., and Versago Vascular, Inc.
