With more than 20 years of experience, which has included the successful implementations of serialization systems at a large number of companies, Mr. Harty brings a wealth of expertise to his role in supporting the effective deployment of Adents serialization software in the Americas.

In his new role, Dave will provide technical support to Adents Certified Partner network and OEM partners, relating to the incorporation of Adents serialization software, which offers user-friendly, standardized unit-level solutions enabling pharmaceutical companies to comply easily with laws and regulations on product traceability, protect themselves from counterfeiting and grey markets, and better control their distribution channels.

In prior positions, Mr. Harty has guided the introduction of serialization systems at a variety of pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors, chemical processing facilities for source batch genealogy, and automotive and consumer products companies. In doing so, he gained a comprehensive understanding of precisely what is involved in implementing serialization programs and systems, including requirements for governance and proper usage of architectural concepts and models to insure data integrity and performance.

Prior to joining Adents, Mr. Harty held various software development, product management, and program management positions, including Chief Architect of Industry Solutions at Siemens IT/Atos, Chief Architect of Intelligent Supply Chain at VeriSign, and Chief Technology Officer of Acsis. He is also the inventor of DataLink™, a device and protocol independent software product used globally by Fortune 100 companies in mission critical manufacturing and warehouse applications

“David’s extensive experience developing and deploying serialization solutions for some of the industry’s leading companies make him a valuable addition to the Adents team,” said Christophe Devins, CEO of Adents. “He’s a proven leader and innovator, and we look forward to years of success together.”

“In my 20 years in serialization, I’ve never seen such high levels of functionality and proper software architecture than I have here at Adents,” added David Harty. “The maturity, capability, and flexibility of the product are unmatched, and customers are going to be extremely satisfied in the ease of implementation that accompanies such a well-thought-out and properly developed solution.”

Dave is involved in multiple GS1 working groups and is a member of the GS1 Global Architecture Group.
