Domino Printing Sciences' SerialTrac has been shortlisted in the PPMA 2016 Awards category for 'Most Innovative Processing or Packaging Machine'. Launched in April 2016 in partnership with Olmec Vision Solutions and with the Life Sciences industry in mind, the SerialTrac solution has the ability to securely generate unique and non-predictive serial numbers, with the core of the system using existing encryption technology to generate 'clever' random serialised numbers.

"We are delighted to have received this nomination from one of the UK packaging industry's key trade associations," says Jim Orford, Commercial Programme Manager at Domino Printing Sciences. "The global trade in fake and illicit medicines remains a key concern and SerialTrac represents an effective solution for combating counterfeiters."

SerialTrac is a unique turnkey product that delivers serialisation compliance at line, site and company level. The system is engineered specifically to enable specialist integrators to offer a standard turn-key compliance solution for niche players and small businesses.
