drupa, the world¹s largest and most important trade fair for print and crossmedia solutions, will continue its proven four-year cycle and take place again in Düsseldorf, Germany from June 23 -July 3, 2020. With this decision Messe Düsseldorf is responding to the numerous requests by the exhibiting industry. The current drupa, with its outstanding business deals and positive atmosphere has made one thing perfectly clear: Its unique feature are the production lines which are in full operation here. This is one of the reasons why drupa is so exceptional. Precisely this investment this is what many exhibitors have assured us over the past few days here is what they want to accomplish at and with drupa in the future, their No. 1 international industry platform. Therefore in the interest of our customers and international markets, drupa will stick to its 4-year cycle, stated Werner M. Dornscheidt, President & CEO of Messe Düsseldorf.

The re-positioning of drupa 2016, its focus on future topics as well as the shorter duration of eleven days have all proven to be good decisions. drupa 2016 is still going on until June 10, 2016 with 1,837 exhibitors from 54 countries showcasing their innovations and applications for print and cross-media solutions in the Düsseldorf fairgrounds' 19 exhibition halls.

To date, about 200,000 visitors from 183 countries have attended drupa 2016. The participation of visitors from around the world has been very high so far: 78% came from countries other than Germany.
