EPIC Systems, Inc. recently honored Dave Stawarskias the 2016 “EPIC Way Award” recipient. The ninth winner of the annual EPIC Way Award, Stawarski was selected for exemplifying the spirit and values that EPIC was founded upon. Each year, one employee is honored for their ability to exemplify the spirit and values upon which EPIC Systems, Inc. was founded on.
John Schott, President of EPIC, presented Stawarski with the crystal engraved award at the annual company meeting on February 19th, 2016. Stawarski's family surprised him by appearing with Schott during the presentation. As the recipient of the honor, Dave received a free $5,000 trip from EPIC Systems.
“Dave raises the standards of professionalism here at EPIC. He is a mentor to those that are around him. In spite of all of the hours he dedicated to EPIC this year, he also found a way to keep the balance between his personal and professional life. Dave is always doing what is best for EPIC, and, like previous winners, is always doing the right thing even when no one is watching.” stated Schott.
Starwarski was not expecting the honor, and was very humbled to receive it. “The company and the culture here are truly something special at EPIC. I mean it when I say that I love coming to work every day,” Stawarski shared. “I couldn’t do this work without my wife, kids and family that support me on a daily basis."

Dave worked a lot of hours in 2015 to make our process more efficient and this award could not go to a more deserving candidate,” Process and Mechanical Group Manager, Ken Sipes added.
