Peli BioThermal, a global leader providing the broadest and most innovative range of temperature-controlled packaging solutions serving the life sciences industry, announces the addition of Allen Yun as Director of Global Services.

In this role, Yun will develop and implement strategic plans as the company’s service offerings expand across the globe.

Yun brings nearly 20 years of executive and management experience to his new role at Peli BioThermal. Most recently, he held the position of Director of Strategic Initiatives for OPTUM, an information and technology-enabled health services business, and was responsible for driving critical business improvements.

“Allen Yun’s priority as our new Director of Global Services will be to build upon the existing global reach of our vital temperature-controlled packaging products and solutions,” said David Williams, President of Pelican BioThermal. “As a determined and passionate leader who drives continuous strategic improvements, I am confident Allen is a good fit in this role.”

Peli BioThermal has seen phenomenal growth in recent years and has continued to expand operations in 2016 through the launch of a new Asia headquarters in Singapore alongside new global partnerships in Brazil and Chile.

As the Director of Global Services, Yun will develop, oversee and implement programs and projects that continue to support Peli BioThermal’s strategy and global growth strategies.

Yun replaces Dick Peters who made major contributions to the business during his tenure as leader of Global Services. Peters retired in April 2016 and is one of the founding members of the company. Peters led the Engineering, Operations, Quality and Service organisations during his tenure and he will continue on in a contract role for strategic Services projects.
