MULTIVAC, Inc. is pleased to announce Mark Turnham has accepted the position of Technical Training Manager and will begin leading our technical training program for the entire United States. Turnham began his career with MULTIVAC in April of 2014 in the role of Regional Service Manager for the MULTIVAC Customer Support Center in Tustin, CA.

Mark has a diverse background in manufacturing operations, with more than 25 years of industry experience. As the Regional Service Manager, Turnham worked very closely with technicians to build their skillsets, allowing them to meet the ever evolving technical demands of sophisticated MULTIVAC equipment and our customer’s unique applications. Turnham also led the creation of customer training courses to supplement our training department’s capacity and cater to the Western Region’s specific customer profile.

Christine Regan, Human Resources Director said, “Having worked directly with our internal technical talent and MULTIVAC customers, Mark brings valuable insight to this role in terms of understanding the breadth and depth of technical skills needed to build, operate, and service our equipment. He has a real enthusiasm for mentoring and developing talent and is keenly aware of our responsibility to meet both internal and external training needs for the success of MULTIVAC and our customers. Mark will no doubt bring excitement to this role and work diligently to execute best in class training that meets the evolving needs of our diverse customer base.”

MULTIVAC continues to develop new products and services that meet the changing needs of the packaging industry. In the past two years, regional sales offices have been opened in California and New Jersey to bring sales coverage and service closer to the customer. Another regional office is scheduled to open in North Carolina in the summer of 2016. Additionally, the US headquarters is currently renovating the offices in Kansas City to include a 32,000 square-foot addition. This allows MULTIVAC to further expand upon manufacturing capabilities. The renovation will include a new, state-of-the-art demonstration area, allowing customers to have hands-on experience with new and emerging MULTIVAC equipment, as well as serving as a training facility for new and returning customers.
